“Chicken,” 2009. Holga, feathers, noxious adhesive.
For those too chicken to just wing it entirely where composition is concerned, Chicken Holga has a feathered flap allowing the viewfinder to be used.
Also, the back can still be removed easily (it’s held on with velcro strips), and another feathered flap covers the frame counter. Needless to say the shutter release and b/n switch are still easily accessible by reaching through the feathers.
As an added bonus, the Chicken Holga keeps the hands toasty warm on winter shoots.
